Your post had me grinning. You may claim the heat crown this time, but I’m definitely feeling it from this side too. Hoping a breeze found you eventually, or at least a popsicle that didn’t give up too soon.
Did have a breeze but it felt like a blast from a hair dryer. I haven't gone for the ice dildo ... yet but I'm keeping it as an option.
@superbjversion2 That breeze had attitude, for sure. As for your backup plan—well, may the ice be ever in your favour. 😄
We’re yet to see the temps climb beyond mid-80s, but we’re getting there
Rain is predicted for later in the week but it doesn't look like temps will fall to MY liking.
@superbjversion2
Luv da stuff here
Thanks
I don't use AC much - turned it on for the first time this year and boy was I grateful for it!
I went to an outdoor yoga retreat on Saturday and they actually had to move the afternoon classes indoors.
I actually turned on my wall unit last night and nope ... still doesn't cool much. My fans still work the best but I've had to bump them up to high.
Today and the past few days have been on the torrid side. I spent yesterday at Devil's Lake where there was a lovely brisk breeze off of the lake and the water was deliciously cool. The day before by Lake Mendota with a brisk wind blowing off the lake. Sure made a difference but required being careful about dehydration. The wind made it so you were not aware of how much you were sweating. Unfortunately they do requite some sort of swim suit when I would rather have been nude along with all the other bathers.
Sounds like the heat here will abate for tomorrow. Hope it does the same for you.
Sending you big naked hugs!
I hid in public places this weekend as I knew the beach would be crowded. Heading to the cool water soon!
@superbjversion2 I think a lot of people hid in public places with A/C these past several days. The temps here just dropped from 90 to 78 in the past hour so the windows are now wide open. I think the major storms are passing north of us.
May your cool off not come with scary weather. Sending you big naked hugs as even with the cool down I go naked at home.
It's the scottish blood!!
Aye ... which should have been in the Highlands!
@superbjversion2
We're waiting! Patiently . . .
@lindoboy100 As am I
Upper 90s here and humid as fuck...I feel your pain. <points fan at you>
The mall, a book, and auntie anne's pretzels ... I survive.
I'm not fond of those days... we've had two so far. I don't know how you manage without ac!!!
I'm not going to bother with maintenance fixing the wall unit but I think it's time for a trip to the hardware store for a portable room unit.
Though not as hot as where you are, we're having a heatwave too.
I checked your temps and they look beautiful!
Amazing how we have changed. When I grew up was just as hot but no one had AC and now not anyone think can live without. In schools late spring would just open the windows and keep on going. The population has become so soft. Yes I have central AC, so I like everyone else is soft. But on the other side I ranch so out in the heat in open cab tractors doing all the hay work for winter that is coming.
Born in 1955, I got my first central air in 1999. But growing up, MI rarely hit 90 degrees and when it did, it was for 3 days in August ... maybe. I tough it out because it's generally short-lived but I reserve the right to complain! 😄
Good grief!! Michigan is NOT supposed to get so hot! When I visited family in the Detroit area, half of everybody did NOT have AC. They had smelling salts though. I prefer the AC personally.
I hope y'all cool off soon!
Hugs!!
I prefer AC too! It's supposed to stay in the 90s for the next couple of days
Here in my part of California, we were ... not as hot as Michigan.
When I lived in Arizona, it was 100 degrees even at night. I had to sleep with a fan blowing on me. Stay cool!
I know. I checked your part of CA plus the pacnw. Just couldn't work them into my post properly. But I want to be in Seattle or SanFran tonight!
Eeek, I can’t imagine. No ac?
My deepest sympathy
I have a wall unit but it cools very poorly so isn't worth the cost of running it. Fans keep me alive
It's hot and HUMID where I live, too. It's almost 9pm and still 84 degrees.... Thank God I have air conditioning, I'd never be able to sleep.
My 97 was at 5pm on my car thermometer (in the shade). Grand Rapids wasn't even the hottest town in the state today.
@superbjversion2 oh my God! That is so hot. I don't do that well in the heat, this is killing me.
@secret_lade I can't do August heat in June. Actually, I can't do heat.
We call it "summer". As you know, I pay no attention until it get over 105.
@pagancountrygirl Don't worry girl. We'll be below zero soon enough.
You call it summer ... we call it August. 😝
@superbjversion2 Getting nekkid is the BEST solution.
@CleavageFan4U iAM nekkid! I'm also lugging around a pair of DD bewbies!
@superbjversion2 Ohhhh, I recall. 🤗
