I left my last boyfriend because he disrespected me. I pined for him and was putting a lot of effort into reuniting because according to him he loved me. He started making jokes about me getting laid and actively seeking a new man when a l the while he was dating the one woman he told me I did not need to worry about. Boy did I feel dumb. You bet your ass I got back on this site and realized the way to get over someone is to get under someone new. At least it took me 4 months and it took him 3 weeks to move on.
I'm glad you could move on, and I wish you luck finding somebody who appreciates you.
So true
I'm sure not in all cases. But if someone comes along who they're attracted to and treats them better than they're being treated, that would undoubtedly be the case. Who can blame them for wanting to trade up? Lol
This is absolutely true.Happened to me once.
Plot twist: After her little foray into the wild, she had the temerity to try and come back to me... um, NOPE!!! I can't express to you all how much I enjoyed telling her to kick rocks...
You know what they say: when a man loves a woman, she can do no wrong. Lol
They'd rather ride the infinite cock carousel then ever lift a finger to work on the relationship they already have
C'est la vie
I don't know about every time but this was polled recently and while I don't remember the percentage well over 50% of women said they had a back up guy in the wings in case a current arrangement went sour.
Judging from the women I've known, that seems somewhat calculated to fit.
It's happened to me once.
We'd been dating for three years, and SHE wanted more. In fact, I was invited over for the usual "Sunday lunch," where I was shocked to meet the NEW guy. It was strange, to say the least. Sort of like that scene in "Moonstruck." Yes, she was also of Italian descent and wanted her family around her.
I stuck around long enough to nod and wave goodbye. 😲😂
Wow, you handle that graciously.
@DanielZwat1950
I was in shock and too numb to do anything. Lol... 😂
I would be too.
I think many men also do this.
I think the same, even more so.
Unfortunately this happens for me it's making shortage of dignity of men
Sometimes, it's just not meant to be Alfie.
Is not always the case, but often 😊
I agree with you. Sometimes, there's a flight for safety.
Not true in every case. Some men are so bad, a woman will leave just to escape him. With no one on the horizon. Just to find some peace and safety
I love you
Exactly, I experienced it in my youth.
I had that happen to me once
All one can do is move on.
@DanielZwat1950 Yep
