Stereotypes - Naughty Nurses?
Stereotypes -
Any nurses out there or friends of nurses, who can explain why nurses have such a "naughty girl" reputation?
I've never had one of these naughty nurses, but a few have flirted with me and I certainly look at nurses with that suspect eye  . I realize that it's not all inclusive....

Ok,looked this up,sexy nurses started as a way to draw woman to the field, then males fantasies kicked in along with the porn world. Fact is some nurses do use it as a way to meet drs, rare heaalthy patient. Most nurses don't see fantasy material. Trust me! We certainly don't appreciate the slovenly male that offers us money for a BJ. Hell I had a nine year old tell me he wnted a special nurse bath! Undermines the whole field. Keep in mind...a nurse is gonna catch your change in status..not a doctor! Just my opinion!

I think nurses have to be so professional that anything sexually related to them is multiplied by us men. In my head, I liken them to teachers and a few other professions in that regard. I have had limited physical interaction with nurses, more with teachers. The fact that MY EX was in charge of high school students where she had to be so politically correct, it was that much hotter when she got slutty for me. So when we see or hear that a lady is a nurse, I think we reflect on our dealings with them in their workplace first. So when we take it to a sexual place in our thoughts, the imagination runs wild.
t_sweet...you might not be the best example of the naughty nurse being a stereotype.

Ummmm... I don't know. I have some nurse friends but they've never come out about their freaky sides. I know that they thought they were funny when they put a sign on my husbands room. They caught us a time or two...

Great Discussion! Thanks for your varied opinions. I certainly discovered some new perspectives here. It's funny how many stereotypes are out there and those that are grouped/shared (nurses, military, LE, etc.,). I'll seek your opinions on some of the others in the future.
BTW, being I'm a "naughty" type, I certainly don't see the "naughty nurse" negatively . I'm still looking for my nurse and/or "the girl next door".....LoL.....That's another one I'll have to ask you about.....Who is she? Where is she? I'm turned on by the mere thought of both of them.....mmmmmm....fantasies.....

I've been a nurse for years & never been naughty at work, or even thought about it but my patients sure have! lol Since I have a very quirky sense of humor I usually have to laugh when they ask me. But it is usually a compliment even though they are somewhat of a captive audience! Now when it comes to being naughty elsewhere...I plead the 5th!!! Oh dang...does lunch hour playtime off site count!?!?!? If so I am a naughty nurse!
