A sociedade hoje em dia empurra-nos para uma busca constante da perfeição, de uma eterna juventude. Cada vez mais pessoas estão obcecadas com o seu aspecto. A sociedade não quer caras velhas e rugosas, quer caras jovens, sem rugas, mesmo que pertençam a uma pessoa com 55 anos.
Somos bombardeados diariamente com imagens de corpos perfeitos. A imagem perfeita vende de tudo um pouco, desde detergentes a carros… beleza e juventude é o que se quer… A indústria publicitária tornou-se a grande culpada pela obsessão com a juventude que vivemos hoje em dia.
Para além de promessas (falsas) de eliminar gorduras gerais e localizadas, rugas, flacidez etc estamos constantemente a ser alimentados com imagens alteradas que apenas mostram a perfeição (que muitas vezes não existe). Cada vez mais pessoas cedem a essa pressão e gastam quantidades enormes de tempo e dinheiro em busca da eterna juventude.
O envelhecimento, que é um processo natural, tornou-se algo hediondo, os padrões de beleza alcançaram níveis cada vez mais difíceis de atingir. Jovens na casa dos 20 usam cremes anti envelhecimento e tanta maquilhagem que quando acordam não têm nem de longe o mesmo aspecto da noite anterior.
O Mundo seria um lugar melhor se as pessoas não fossem tão obcecadas com a beleza física.

Society today pushes us to a constant pursuit of perfection, of eternal youth. More and more people are obsessed with their appearance. The society does not want old faces with wrinkles, just young faces with no wrinkles, even if they belong to a person with 55 years old.
We are daily harassed with perfect body images. The perfect image sells a bit of everything from detergents to cars ... beauty and youth is what people want ... The advertising industry has become a major culprit by the obsession with youth which we live today.
Besides promises (fake) to eliminate general and localized fat, wrinkles, sagging and so on, we are constantly being fed with photoshoped images that show only perfection (which often does not exist). More and more people give in to this pressure and spend huge amounts of time and money in search of eternal youth.
Aging, which is a natural process, has became something hideous, beauty standards achieved levels of increasingly difficult to achieve. Young people in their 20s use anti aging creams and so much make-up that when they wake up do not look near the same person of the previous night.
The world would be a better place if people were not so obsessed with physical beauty.

Todos nós precisamos de pontos aqui no site, uns mais que outros....
Uma das muitas formas de ganhar pontos é comentar nos blogs, cada comentário dá-nos 10 pontos. Há alguns dias que não têm dado pontos por comentários e segundo resposta do site o motivo é que já atingi o limite de 300 pontos por comentários... Estranho estando eu no site há quase 6 anos já devo ter atingido esse limite logo no primeiro ano, pois basta comentar 30 blogs para chegar aos 300 pontos e até há bem pouco tempo eu e outros membros recebíamos pontos por comentar.

Mais uma forma que o NewZealandPersonals.com arranjou para perder membros, pois há membros para os quais os comentários são a única maneira de obter pontos, nem todos os membros querem expor-se nas cams para ter tips, nem todos os membros têm um blog...
